Ms. Russell conducts senior-level search assignments for retail clients ranging from the Fortune 1000 to family-owned businesses in the development of world-class leadership teams. She has significant experience in the recruitment of executives at the C-suite level (CEO, COO, CMO, CTO, CFO).

Her retail clients include omni-channel specialty stores and mass merchants, home furnishings and food retailers, and brick and mortar and internet-based retailers across the country.

Ms. Russell has lived on both coasts as well as in the Midwest and understands regional and national retail dynamics. She is well acquainted with the culture and business models of most multi-store retailers in the country.


Ms. Russell was a Retail Partner with Korn/Ferry International, a global executive search firm, for 11 years in the Philadelphia and Seattle offices. Prior to that, she was Vice President in the Dallas and Los Angeles offices of a boutique search firm specializing in the retail industry. Before entering executive search, Ms. Russell was a retail executive with 12 years of senior-level marketing experience at Zale Corporation and Neiman Marcus Group.

Her marketing accomplishments include:

Ms. Russell holds an MBA from Southern Methodist University, as well as a BA (magna cum laude). In addition she holds diamond grading certification from the Gemological Institute of America and is a graduate of the FBI Citizens Academy.
